Wed 6/16
Hey there…I am sitting here in a plane on my way home to Orange County. Alan (my eldest Son) e-mailed to say he and his friend landed safely in Japan, had dinner and toured a little of Tokyo, all while I was sleeping last night. Alan will be there for a few weeks this summer. I will miss him.
The great thing about traveling these days is the iPhone. Each day Nannie would take pictures throughout the day of William going from one activity to the next and text them to me. I feel connected and not quite as removed just knowing and seeing that he is enjoying himself while I am away….You know…it helps eliminate some of the ‘Mother-guilt’ for not being there in person. Of course there are the kissy phone calls with him and Dad during dinner and then once again before bed time….All in a days work. ?
I’ll sleep in, stay home and play with William all day tomorrow. Tomorrow evening I am conducting a Glamour Clinic at the Office. More fun to come….
Tues 6/15
Today was a hoot. I caught up with several beloved SeneGence Distributors who live within the area and welcomed the newer ones into our fold. This evening we dined at the restaurant in a hotel on the beach owed by Gloria Estephon (?)… Good Cuban Food.
Still no luggage… I called the 800 number given to me by the airlines to check on its where-a-bouts. While training today my luggage traveled to Chicago and was then sent to South Bend, Indiana. Go figure.
Mon 6/14
This morning upon awakening I called the airport to determine if my luggage had arrived. I was told yes it had. I could pick it up when checking in to my flight to Florida…. By the time Kristan dropped me at the airport my luggage had already been sent to Denver…Yes, that’s right. Another day without clothing.
Pamela B knew exactly where to take me for a little shopping upon my arrival into Melbourne Florida. We spent an hour at one of her girl friend’s boutiques. I purchased three playful outfits I could wear with the selection of heels and jewelry I had in my carry on satchel. I was set to go.
Sun 6/13
Guess what? I arrived into Tulsa airport safely…but my luggage did not. Luckily, Kristan, good friend that she is, had plenty of SeneDerm skin and body care for my use at the house as she is a devoted user. I always carry my daily selection of color SenseCosmetics in the SenseCosmetics Blending Brush Collection so there was no worries about not having cosmetics for the next days use…just in case of situations just like this one. It just so happened I had to remove a pair of black heels from my suitcase and place them in my carry on satchel to balance the weight of the suitcase. Wow….what a coincidence that I would have shoes needed for the next day with me.
My cab driver from the airport to Kristan’s house turned out to be a God and Country, rifle-carrying loving resident who took good care of me… stopping at WalMart for a spell so I could do some shopping for a toothbrush and other necessities before we reached Kristan’s home around 1:00 am in the morning.
We had the opportunity to lunch with two of my most favorite people in the world…her parents, the Zumwalts before heading to our meeting with Dawn C. and her SeneGence Distributors who live in the Oklahoma City vicinity. Kristan and her family treated me as a member of the family during our youth. A couple of blocks away from the meeting place is a SteinMart. Kristan and I popped in and bout a new top to match the black silk pants (from the day before) and heels I was wearing. At least I look clean and refreshed….Lovely gals….fun meeting.
Sat 6/12
I am on a United flight having just left Utah headed for Oklahoma to spend the night with a girlfriend, Kristan. I’ll train with Dawn and her team tomorrow afternoon. I delivered two information packed days in Salt Lake where we sponsored 7 beautiful newbies into the company at a single event….I can see that Leta and her team is going to make things happen in Utah. I am very excited for what awaits them. I also had the privilege of joining Leta and her lovely family for two meals at their home….just lovely, lovely loving people.
Thur 6/10
Where did Tuesday and Wednesday go? I have no recollection of them as I was home in bed with a fever….I think I slept for two days straight. Ben too. I remember asking Nanny to please spend the night to help with William. I’ll spend as much time with the little one tonight because I have to get up early tomorrow morning, pack and head for the airport…..Onto Utah with Leta; Oklahoma with Dawn; and Florida with Pamela.
Mon 6/07
We enjoyed a lively Sene – U this past weekend. I think we have the most fun during one of the training segments of the class taught Friday evening; DISC, Learning Personality types and how to recognize them. It’s amazing how true the training is…and the way, once you know their secrets, you can identify who is who and what they like, how they learn, and how personality type usually communicates with others…..all very fascinating

I had a fun afternoon this past Saturday at a beloved SeneGence Distributor’s home (Beryl H.). She invited me to introduce to her loyal LipSense customers SeneDerm Anti-Aging Skin Care. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity to do so. I believe there were six guests. The sales were just shy of $1000.00 - $997.22 to be exact and one newbie SeneGence Distributor signed on. I was home by 1:20 pm to spend the afternoon with the little one…
We spent the afternoon riding the carousel and walking around South Coast Plaza. There was a toy store involved. Upon arrival at home we hiked up through the hills were we live. Now… isn’t that just a perfectly fun day?
Tues 5/18
This is the current Sweepstakes offer in Elle Magazine...fun!
Mon 5//17
Yesterday (Sunday) the marketing gals and I attended a “Pampered Ladies Cruise’ aboard a ship that cruised the Newport Harbor. We were one of many fun and yummy companies offering the guests products that pampered. The results? Five newbie Distributors, two demos, and five individuals who are taking outside orders to earn products….and that’s just the beginning with no follow up results to report as of yet!
Our pampering station was non-stop swamped, of course.
Pictured here Kelly and Deborah helping customers.
Fri 5/14
Virtual Business Training was a little challenging as Dim Dim is working through new software issues…… I as much as was impossible about how to get ready for summer business (see your SeneGence back office
for more details). Anyway….I did not get through the entire “Getting Organized and Planning to Win” training so we placed the entire training that includes dialogue and work sheets for you to access in your back office under Resources>Training> Book to Build> Getting Organized. Read it….It has some great ideas and helpful tips for home and business.
Mon 5/09
Mother’s Day was a fantastic Day. .. Actually the entire weekend was fun. We took the SeneBus to park at a park in the Mountains so I could resume writing the ManaGence Manual in preparation for PIT Stop. …wrote not one single word … Turns out the generator need some work and we could not run the engine. So, when we were in the SeneBus (along with William, of course) the computer was used for “My Baby Can Read” DVDs (he adores them and yes, he is beginning to read at age two!)
Alan thoughtfully made reservations for lunch and then a stint at a nearby candle making outing at a place called “Pure Light”.
We designed and built into molds two candles. It was very fun and entertaining not to mention all the more special as we took home a memento of our day. (I’ll include picture later) I told Carmen to book the establishment for the members of our Seminar Inner Circle Court …It’s quite close to the Dana Point Hotel; we’ll cater a dinner and make candles for our special event. It will be very fun.
Fri 5/07
LipVolumizer Shades, Items for all Generations – Launched this week and are flying off the shelf! Have fun with them …. Young and old alike will love these formulas for different reasons. Happy Mother’s Day!
Wed 5/05
Red Rules – I purchased the most gorgeous red computer today with matches the same shade of LipSense Blu-Red!
I remember the days I used to be this excited about a pair of shoes. My, how times have changed. I can edited our own DVD’s on it .. speaking of which, where is the Glamour Demo DVD? I better check on it.
Tue 5/04
Computer Shopping – So….I tell IT I need a new computer and what do they get? A computer that looks like a TransBox or TransPot (it like stands up on your desk!)….whatever it is called … way too much computer for my needs. I gave it to Michael, our President. Goodie! Computer shopping tomorrow after Joe’s interview appointment for the book.
Mon 5/03
Crash! – My computer crashed this am.
‘Good thing I back it up each night (I really have no idea what that really means other than this little box plugged into my docking station is said to transfer and store all of my information each time I plug into it) in the event it does exactly what it did. I am miserable as I can not log on to my e-mails or SeneGence.com to see what is happening. Today, computerlessness is like being boot strapped and bound … no movement! I miss my computer L
Pris and I had fun. Movie Theatre, lunches, shopping, and evenings at home having dinner with the family. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Fri 4/30
Your Book – That’s the generic name of the book that is being written by me and ‘help’ Joe Rookard. Joe is a journalist by trade and an ex-employee who just happens to believe he is the perfect person to help ‘ghost write’ and complete this book, the SeneGence story …. Joe knows me and the company very well. We spend two to three
hours a week together, interviewing, defining, and discussing the writings and entries for the book. It’s been a work in progress for almost two years now. We estimate it will be complete this winter. More on that later …
This weekend is a ‘girl weekend’. My girlfriend is flying in to town to stay with me and to play … yippee!
Wed 4/27
Webinar – We had a good group on line last night. I so look forward to each of these trainings as it make me feel as though I am sitting in the living room with everyone. It’s more fun than training with each writing back and forth.
I showed all into the camera the progress my nails are making … Our soon to be released NailExtend is MAGNIFICIENT!!!!! I really believe we will change the way women have their nails manicured with this item … And all will be much healthier for it too! J
Mon 4/26
Tea - Saturday’s Tea was fun. I personally made the tea sandwiches; egg salad, cucumber, and salmon.
I bought tiny little loaves of ‘tea bread’ but think they are too hard. Next month I’ll make the same sandwiches and put them on thin white bread removing the crust. I think they will be much more appetizing and certainly more refreshing to sample.
I will also have available a white board so that I can train and draw pictures of items we are talking about during the Tea. I have found Distributor love to come and ask questions. Pictures help to better explain the answers.
Today is Demo DVD day with the producer….. This is a major task!
Fri 4/23
Kisses - Cindy Ashton, the multi talented motivational speaker and singer who gave a surprise performance on stage during Seminar visited the office today with a fantastic YouTube idea
... She’s going to “Kiss’ Everything! More to come latee ...
Wed 4/21
Carmen and I are demo-ing up a storm! It began last Saturday with a demo at Amy S’s…..sold lip color and gained one new SeneGence Distributor; Then Carm and I left for Arizona - Monday P.M. was spent at a demo with Joan L’s where we sponsored six Newbie Distributors; Tuesday was a demo at Zoanne W’s with four Newbie Distributors signing on.
The demos were great practice with how to intro the newest products in our line….Endothermic Mask; Polishing Exfoliator; and LipSense Naturals. They were each a big hit with the customers as they were fun to demonstrate and welcomed editions to the line.
Tues 04/13
I am back at work from Seminar after a day of rest (not really) as I stayed home yesterday for a 100% ‘Mommy Day’ with William…..who was definitely in need of Mommy’s arms what seemed like the entire day ….(good for me! J )
Our Annual Seminar Event was fun…..warm hearted; engaging…..for new friends and familiar friends alike. It’s so fun to see the reaction of our comrades as we continue to unveil long term growth programs and products – one-after-another. SeneGence Distributors can undoubtedly trust their futures are as secure as they care to make them…..we (SeneGence Corporate) are here to stay and getting better every year – no question about that!
The Double Tree in Doheny was a wonderful venue with delicious food served during each dining experience. The rooms were more than cozy – actually luxurious suites, each. Very nice. I will try to reserve the hotel for next year’s event this week to lock into a location for Seminar 2010 – 2011 ‘Solutions’.
Scene below: Leader Cathy Rice being recognized for her year’s achievements during the Jerni Reception…. Note how gorgeous the day was near the beach last weekend.
Scene below: Yoram (Product Formulator) and Joni applying new Endothermic mask to volunteer Lady Karole Lewis….. The new patent-pending mask is amazing – a mini-face lift. The crowd was riveted at the results!
You may log on to the web site under events for a pictorial of the event….available quite soon.
Mon 4/05
NailSense is 100% intact on each and every nail (they are natural as I removed the acrylics a couple of months ago. That’s right…..it wore well through another weekend of gardening, Easter feasts and all of the dishes, pots, and pans that come with the preparation of the meals…and even through an earthquake!
William (the two year old) and I were shopping at Bed, Bath, & Beyond during the moments of shaking. I plucked William from the shopping cart like a football player grabs a football and with head down sprinted towards the front door like I was trying to make the winning touchdown in the seasons’ final game.
“Head to the middle of the parking lot away from the walls and windows!” I said to those who simply stood in the isles looking confused. William was quite amused….mostly with the swaying racks of goods, swinging overhead lights, and rocking televisions hanging from the ceiling.
Fri 04/02
I am pleased to report that since applying a clear coat of NailSense to my then naked nails…… not one single chip or worn edge for 4 days now. And….they have been run through the mill, too! This nail polish is truly the best there is, of course!
Mon 3/29
We had ‘Tea’ this weekend at the house with local SeneGence Distributors and guests.
It was quite fun. Two hours of tasting delectable finger treats and flavored teas accompanied with lots of story telling and sharing tips. Some of us sat at the tables in the back yard to enjoy the view over looking Orange County;
seeing all the way to LA and Catalina Island all at the same time...just breath taking.
So...I was in a hurry a couple of hours before ‘tea time’ and drove to the nearby nail salon for a manicure. I forgot to bring NailSense Clear...They used their brand. I kid-you-not! By that evening their clear was already peeling off of my nails. As I sit here typing... no polish at all on my nails. I’ll be sure to remember NailSense next time for sure!
Tues 3/23
Almost three weeks since I’ve written. Honestly I been very busy preparing for Seminar….and whenever possible flying or driving to Phoenix. My Dad, Jerry Hight, a valued SeneGence Board Member, has recently had open heart surgery with a valve replacement and a by-pass. He is a patient at Mayo Clinic and in good hands…..but he’s not doing too well; it has been touch and go. My Mother and sister, Millie are with him alternating shifts both day and night. Sister Toni and I show up to offer whichever a chance to sleep.
As usual and per demand of Dad – the show must go on…..So, of course I try to stick to my scheduled plan of events and daily work duties (most office duties of which Kirsten has been doing beautifully in my stead) between quick hospital visits.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of hosting four of our Most Influential Distributors (Jeri T-S, Pamela B, Kelly R, & Cathy H) who spent the entire time preparing gifts for our Seminar attendees. The gifts are breath taking! Each an original, I know they will be valued with each Distributor who receives one. You’ll have to ‘show up’ to collect your own work of art.
This coming Saturday I get to host the very first “Opportuni-Tea” here at the house. I am soooo excited! I am going to use china and crystal gifted to us from Ben’s Mother and Grandmother. It makes the event even more special as I get to use their fine linens and settings….items that were common for them to use almost daily…..which, today seems almost like a lost art. I am happy to put the items they used and even made to good use…..reviving the simple and gracious for an afternoon each month while getting to know local Distributors better and meeting new women from the surrounding areas. How fun is that? ‘Hope you can make it! J
Mon 03/01
Yesterday I was awaken early in the am while sleeping with William (2 ½ year old because he cried out for me at 5:00 am to come ‘see him’) by the door bell. My blurry eyes could barely focus on the person starring back at me (in my pajamas) as I opened the front door. It was one of our workers ready to start for the day….and there may be up to 8 on any given day. That’s how each day has begun recently…..up in the middle of a dream and non stop till midnight! Anyway – here’s the point – I have not applied makeup as I’ve jumped out of bed and into the days’ projects…. I’ve been running around town like a busy stay-at-home-Mom who does not have time to apply makeup in the morning. Seriously…..No worries as my skin looks incredible! Honestly I did not think it could get any better than it was…..With the use of these new products (which we will launch at Seminar) my skin absolutely glows! When I am out running around in my jeans and tees, I do not look unkempt …people actually smile and are still nice to me although I have no makeup on (unusual). I know it’s because my skin glows! WOW!!!!
Mon 02/22
Goodness! Busy …Busy! Preparing for Seminar and editing new Demo DVD.
Wednesday we are going to a couple of pre-schools to determine which William will begin to attend. I’ve already made up my mind to send him to the private Christian school….I want him to be able to say his daily prayers, sing the National Anthem, and the Pledge of Allegiance at school, for Heaven’s sake!!!!
Fri 02/18
I love Costco! You can purchase some pretty cool ‘stuff’ there – like…..Ben is building a fort/swing/slide/rock climbing set in the back yard for William and his play-date buddies. He’s hired two helpers. They’ve been working on it for four days now…. Big project!
Thur 02/04
Carmen rode with me to Simi Valley yesterday where we met up with Emily to “Wow” and to conduct a Launch Demo. We ‘wowed’ two new customers while having fun shopping around. Three attended the demo held at Emily’s home. We sold three sets of LipSense sets and some skincare …And Emily booked two more demos. It was a good night.
Fri 01/22
This has been a week of rain storms. We needed the moisture (not the tornadoes, though)…. However those living in burn areas are subjected to flooding. We will pray especially for their safety, along with prayers of the same for our troops, the care of Haitian victims, and wisdom for members of our government. (Notice NO political rant one way or the other!)
I plan to have a very ‘Mommy’ weekend with my little one and dinners at home including Alan. To my surprise, Alan turned 22 years old last week. How did that happen? I look at my tall, handsome son and can’t believe I been blessed to be his Mom for twenty two years. When he is ready….some young Lady will be a very lucky girl to have him as her partner. (sniffels)
Below is a sample picture of a collage taken of William and puppy Looper by husband, Ben who is himself a very talent photographer (only one of many skills and talents).

Tues 1/19
Okay! Okay!..... I’ve been very busy since returning home from the farm for the Holidays…. Here’s an update on progress at work.
Pit Stop Media Blitz was a blast, educational, productive, and heart warming for all. Here is a picture recap:
We spent a couple of days setting the stage and organizing props before the arrival of our Ladies;

Thurs 12/31
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! I hope your holiday was as fun and full of family and friends camaraderie as ours. As you can see by the pictures below, the day after Christmas and our newly customary celebration at home we headed to Alabama….. This year to the farm lands where the entire family gathered for a few days of guy-type farm, rough & tough fun and activities along with delicious meals prepared by Kay-Kay (Grandmother). The boys were in heaven.
Of course, I could not have shown up to participate without first gifting sister-in-laws and Mother-in-law each a beautiful SeneCa 2010 Collectable (the perfect gift). They loved it.
I am very happy I took plenty of SeneDerm Shea Butter Body Cream as the cold temperatures could have gotten the best of my skin had I not used amble amounts night and morning! I actually applied it to my face and throat following SeneDerm Evening Moisturizer so my skin received an extra layer of protection from dry heat while sleeping through the night. Make sure all of your customers are using it in the winter months….especially around cuticles, fingertips, heals, hands, and elbows that are so easy to dry with constant exposure to cold air….then exposure to forced heat in homes….a disastrous combination for skin aging!

The Kante Klan at Christmas 2009 spent at the Alabama Farm.

William Kante plowing to prepare pasture for spring seeding.

William and Ben Kante practicing their horsemanship for the round-up.

Alan (handsome son), seen here skeet shooting over the lake. Alan (still in my heart, my baby) has been busy with his college school work and travel. He’s seeing various parts of the world between classes, studying psychology. I usually omit information about him in this blog as I try to give him his privacy….. You know how important that issue can be between parents and their children. J

Max seen here standing on the driving wheel of the car the day after we arrived home from our trip to the farm – I retrieved him from Birdie Camp and Looper from Doggie Camp where they frolicked while we were gone. Both are very happy to be home with the family.
Wed 12/23
Nanny has been gone since last Thursday so I’ve had the pleasure of spending full time days with William. We’ve been busy:

Twice to Pretend City

(a mini kid sized city within a building for real life role playing)

A day at the Beach with puppy pal, Looper.

Making Christmas Cookies for Santa.

A Trip to Disneyland.

A brief visit with Arizona Grandma and a stop along I-60 to check on the ‘Dinos’.

stop along I-60 to check on the ‘Dinos’.

Coiffing for the holidays.
All-in-all….it’s been a great holiday season. J
Fri 12/11
This has been an exciting week with lots of activity. I met with the producer of our soon to be shot DVDs for the company and began to storyline the sequences and scenes; A contractor came by to chart out the build out of the warehouse where will begin to manufacture our products; I spent a very fun afternoon wowing with Ellen & Patti while attending a candy making class; and tonight Jeri TS is flying in to help me conduct a webinar for our Australian 2009 Leaders Conference … Never a dull moment!
Mon 12/7
Okay…..so after having spent a fun weekend with our SeneGence Distributors at Sene-U I met Ben and William at a local beach cove where they were ‘camping’ in the SeneBus and to spend the night. When Ben opened the door to the SeneBus I notice a build-up of sand on the steps leading up into the inside of the bus - completely unacceptable. Standing at ground level I asked Ben who was inside, if he would hand to me a broom so that I could sweep the steps before entering. He said there was no broom (weird). Pausing for a moment he said the following:
“I could let you open your Christmas present …..(Inaudible)”.
Now, to be honest the rest of his words were lost as my head was spinning at the concept of BROOM and CHRISTMAS PRESENT spoken in the same light and sentence. I could not believe he would actually gift a broom to me. I think I was in momentary shock. Not saying a single word for fear of hurting his feelings I eagerly accepted the lovely gift wrapped box with a smile on my face.
‘Turns out the gift card said to: Mom from: Looper (our new puppy). Inside was a darling custom designed hand wisp and dust pan. I use the standard ones you purchase from the grocery store all of the time to clean up small messes after William. I LOVE MY NEW BROOM AND PAN!
After about a half hour or so, laughing at myself for internally reeling over the initial shock of his words, I told him I hadn’t heard his entire sentence and thought my gift from him was a broom. We enjoyed a big laugh together… Ah, marital bliss.
Tues 12/02
Boy! Am I happy we have an amazingly moisturizing and conditioning hand cream in SeneDerm Hand Cream with Shea Butter! The skin on my fingertips and around my nails were beginning to split and even bleed in some areas Thanksgiving Day because we were cooking …and washing …and rinsing. You know what I mean….the endless cycle of reusing dishes, pots, pans, bowls, mixers, spoons, knives and who knows what else needed to prepare a big feast. As I spread the hand cream across my skin I felt the instant relief of dryness imposed by over exposure to water. It really helped that the product is reusable… meaning just rub your hands together to reactivate with just a touch of water. Our hand cream saved my hands from a slow and painful healing process.
Tues 11/24
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Today was our company Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon – Yummy! True-to-form, despite salad dressing LipSense held up again. We also held our annual Dessert Contest. Consuela won a $25.00 gift certificate to the Olive Garden and Melida won two movie tickets for their renditions of tasty desserts. There are lots of leftovers, of course.
Mon 11/23
Wednesday the family and I are off to Arizona to enjoy Thanksgiving Day with Mom & Dad, my sister Millie and her family, and my Brother Bill, plus a few of my parents local friends. I am brining the turkey – a big one; twenty-five pounder, a large ham, and a smoked salmon along with traditional stuffing and gravy. No – I did not cook it myself. I ordered from Honey-Baked…and no, I do not feel guilty for buying dinner (at least this year I remember to order in advance!). In fact, I feel pretty pleased with myself for being efficient. We’ll have a delicious meal for 20 and all I have to do is pick it up. J Mom is providing all of the side dishes and Millie the desserts. Hmmm … Based upon my calculations I think we’ll be eating some form of a turkey dish/sandwich/soup for the next five days. ‘How about you?
Mon 11/16
Here’s a picture of the newest member of our family, Luper, an Australian Labradoodle. Named by William, pictured below proudly holding his new best friend, Luper blended into domestic bliss at our home over the weekend beautifully….William has been giggling for two days straight. Both Master and Dog pal are very happy campers.

Fri 11/13
We are all excited and William is ecstatic! Sunday we drive to a breeder’s home and pick up the newest member of our family…..a darling cream Labradoodle, William’s new best friend.

We are ready for him and so is our home. William and I have spent at least a half hour each day of this past week playing within the new ‘doggie Kennel’ Ben erected for the new addition. William and Daddy journeyed to the pet store and stocked up on…well, just about everything a little doggie could dream of….in preparation of the big day.
Mon 11/09
‘Still working on the Distributor Demo Guide….So – Halloween was a blast at our house. William was Pooh Bear.

Ben accompanied William trick-or-treating around the first block while I stayed home to hand out sweets. We traded places and I took William out to the second block while Ben stayed home. As we were headed back towards our home, kids were excitedly telling one another there was a ‘grab and run’ home in the direction we were walking where you could take as much candy as you wanted from a big box…. You guessed it….It was our house. Ben decided to empty all of the bags of unopened candies into a big box and leave the front door open while he spent time upstairs on the computer….Geessseeeee…
Wed 10/26
‘Wrapping up the Distributor Demo Guide this week….Last night was very interesting; tried to log on to the webinar with a power point presentation regarding our new SeneDerm Solution Anti Wrinkle Treatment and the program froze. Turns out those who logged in could hear and ‘chat’ with one another through the site as they listened to me reading the dialogue that was to be read during the slide presentation…..To top it off – I had no voice…So all-in-all we committed to the schedule even with hitches…but at least We ‘showed up’ as the show must go on….. Professionals know no limitations, right Ladies?
Checked sales….Anti-Wrinkle Treatment is the number two fastest selling product this month! The testimonials about how great it works are pouring in daily….. Ah, yes…the satisfying sounds of launching into the marketplace yet another product that really works!
Tue 10/23
What a hoot! Kelly and I flew to Washington early Saturday am to conduct training for one of our newest North Western up and coming SeneGence Leaders. What beautiful country. Anyway…a demo later with about $800.00 in Retail Sales and five new distributors later we then headed north to a place near the Canadian boarder for a Sunday presentation. This event was held in a very busy gift and book store…..lots of Ladies with lips and the applicators were a’flying! A short drive to the local airport and we were on our way home…. What a fun weekend!
Yesterday (Monday) I spent the day home with the little one as we both had colds. Projects? Oh, there were many! We made frames, painted, colored, played trains, and experimented for hours out back at the ‘wet lab’….not to mention a good nap for both of us. :)
Tues 10/22
Wow! What a great Leaders Conference!
New Leaders and Future Leaders; New Beauty Book Distributor Guide & Product Knowledge Guide; Mid Size SeneCar Program; Three Great Industry Speakers; and so much more! The weekend was packed with fun and excitement as we continue to move forward…..
So after the close of the event and our luggage was packed into the car I arrived home to kiss my eldest hello and to swoop my little one into my arms….as I have been away quite a bit lately in preparation of the event. I told the little one I would spend all day with him when he woke up in the morning….I kid you not – we spent an entire hour yesterday spread out on the sidewalk in our pajamas face down looking into the street gutter…throwing leaves, mud, bugs, and pebbles into it just listening to the sounds they make’ wondering how long it would take each to reach the sanitation plant then filter out to the ocean……hmmmm….such deep contemplation. Of course – no hour would be well spent in this position without endless echo sounds….The joys of childhood…..No, more specifically the joys of motherhood.
Wed 9/23
I am holding myself hostage in the SeneBus (all the comforts of home) somewhere up in the mountains in Orange County writing ….New Manuals ATLAST! You won’t hear from me again until I am finished!
This works out very well…We parked the bus last Saturday at a beautiful national park nearby. I drive to the bus each morning to spend hours of uninterrupted typing…and return home to the family each night. William and Ben will spend the weekend here ‘camping’ while I continue on….

Busy, Busy! I arrived home Tuesday evening from a very fun and productive nine day tour visiting various Leaders around the States. With the help and support of our State Leaders and Founders we trained our SeneGence Distributors in four states, held Glam N Glosses, conducted demos, and sponsored newbies in every location.
Day 1 (08/22) - Pam B. in Vero Beach, Florida

These gals were very excited to learn more about the products.
(Pam is in the dark blue dress in the middle of the shot)
Day 2 (08/23) - Vero Beach

Training topics included product knowledge, color placement,
& a fun color application instruction lead by Pamela.
Day 3 (08/24) - Kaylen Y. in Houston, Texas

More glamour application.
(Kaylen is front center in a black outfit)
Day 4 (08/25) - Holly M. & Kaylen Y.

Airplane between Texas and Oklahoma

This lovely woman came to my seat and introduced
herself as a long time SeneGence Distributor…. How darling is she?
Day 6 (08/26) - Dawn C. in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Dawn’s event was also a fundraiser for a woman in the area.
See Dawn standing right.
Day 7 (08/27)- Dinner with Friends and Bill Rogers, Brother

It was nice to spend time with Brother Bill.

Wed 8/19
Today I was reminded of another fantastic product we are soon launching….not the same as the item below. They will soon prove to be welcomed additions to the SeneDerm Solutions line. I suspect our SeneGence Distributors will make a small fortune
… Stay tuned…
Ben and Alan arrive into the LA Airport late this afternoon. I can’t wait to greet them and give both a huge hug and kiss. I’ve missed them immensely. Especially Alan as he was gone for three entire months!
Tues 8/18
Millie has such a gift for gardening. While here last week to bide time while I was working she cropped a half dozen of my topiaries into a simply gorgeous, gracious shape.
I am working on the clinical studies for our next new product launch for SeneDerm Solutions. Are you ever going to be impressed! I know
I am!!!
EVERY WOMEN I KNOW WILL PURCHASE AND USE THIS PRODUCT RELIGOUSLY!!!! Sorry….I can’t tell what it is yet.
Mon 8/17
Where does the time go? Oh – I know….. My sister, Millie spent last week here with me (Ben and Alan are touring
Europe
).
We shopped and shopped each evening after work then rushed home to be with William for the evening festivities…..it’s always a party with him
)
We launched Limited Edition LipSense Shades…. Leader Distributors think we should use the larger tubes and increase the price….That’s a first! I mean, it’s the first time I’ve heard our Distributors suggest raising the prices.
Wed 8/06
Wed 8/06 – ‘Spent the day at Sea World….Hot! Hot! Hot! Now add a two year old running from here to there….jumping into water whenever possible….and wanting to go on rides and exhibits ‘Again! Again!’ and you may form a mental picture of what my day was like. I went to bed the moment he went to bed!
William’s Pooh Bear Birthday Cake. Pooh sings ‘Happy Birthday’.
Tue 8/05
We broadcasted the birthday party to friends and family located in different parts of the States and even to different countries using Dim-Dim web conference program along with a computer and video (setting atop a rolling shelf)….just amazing! We were all together as all were instructed to logon at a specific time to sing ‘Happy Birthday’.
Regardless of where friends and family are…you can now all ‘be together’ via the web….It was truly amazing and fun as everyone in the room and via the web regardless of location around the world engaged in happy birthday conversations. Our holiday celebrations will be broadcast from now on….
Mon 8/4
We hosted a Birthday Party this past Saturday for our two year old. What a hoot! We decided to take Nannies advice and take the gifts home to open one each day…. ‘Can’t wait to learn what’s new to play with each morning! William will have presents to open for a month….hmmmm, Birthday Month!
Wed 7/29
There was an accident of epic proportions at my house this weekend…..’all my fault. In fact, I bet it will take years to understand the impact of this accident. Here’s the story….
Several months ago my Mother-in-Law sent to my house her mother’s cookie jar….’Boots, looking like a retro ‘Howdie-Doodie’ trinket. Oh, how it brought back happy memories for my husband. Like a good wife I set it in the kitchen for display (although it matched not a single other item) and kept it full of yummy treats for the entire male populations coming in and out of the kitchen. As I filled the jar the top slipped from my hands and crashed to the floor! Now this is the truth! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! My husband was standing a foot away as it happened so he is my witness….too many pieces to attempt a repair job. He was very sad and I’ve yet to confess to my Mother-in-Law, Kay.
You know what they say; God provides…
It just so happens I received a large box from my Mother, JoAnn two days earlier. What was in it? A set of four canisters she no longer needed shaped like GIANT VEGETABLES. (I actually thought to myself...hmmm ‘what will I do with these?”)
‘Boots’ has been replaced by a new jar (to us) that looks like a GIANT BUNCH of CARROTS with a LETTUCE & TURNUP TOP!
I believe God provides…but His idea of what I need and mine are sometimes two totally different things! J
Fri 7/31
What a great week! We experienced another great month of new growth and sells and successfully launched our new SeneDerm Solutions Anti-Wrinkle Sculpting Body Lotion…. Only to follow with the short awaited return of Summer Love LipSense, the limited release of “Bonita’ LipSense, and the return of LipSense Shell Gloss…. The ‘girls’ are very excited, so am I as there is much more to come.
Thur 7/23
I just completed writing the training for our newest product soon to be launched into our line in the not too distant future. Wow! I became even more excited as I studied the clinicals to translate into a training using layman’s terms…. You are going to be soooo excited!!!!
Wed 7/22
My lashes are so thick…I no longer have to try to coat each lash with LashSense! LashExtend is responsible for a new crop of lashes and then some! Now, to cover my lashes with Black or Brown LashSense each morning I simply quickly brush my lashes with the chosen shade. If a lucky lash receives color….great. They are so thick I do not need to coat each one. Now – that’s a great product that really works!
Thur 7/17
Meetings, planning, expanding….We (SeneGence) are on the move again! We simply can not pass up the opportunities this market avails to us to expand our company and operations. TBA….. J
Since Sister Millie (sun worshiper) is in town we will spend late afternoon today with Nanny and William at Wild Rivers. ‘Hope they have a cabana available!
Tomorrow I leave to visit Mom & Dad for the weekend.
All – Have a great summer weekend in the sun with friends and loved ones!
Mon 7/13
Fun in the sun! Yesterday (Sunday) Ben and I spent the entire day with William (our 2 year old) at “Wild Rivers” water park. The use of a cabana made it possible to stay the day as we retreated to it many times for a break from the glaring sun. I wore our SenseCosmetics as usual (what else?). William even took a nice nap stretched out on one of the cabana lounge chairs after lunch was served. Oh, My Goodness! He was thrilled to the tenth degree having never before seen pipes and water squirts of all kinds in the ‘water works’ area of the park. We each used our SeneSun Sunscreen SPF 30 for protection all over the skin’s exposed areas…..not a single tint of pink on anyone at the end of the day. Our products are surely the best! Nana (Aunt Millie, my sister) is arriving today to visit. No doubt over the course of the next five days another day at the water park will be in order.
Sun 7/12
SeneU was as always a blast. Wonderful newbies to meet and teach; new launch demos to schedule which translates to more fun, new smiling faces and the furtherance of sharing wonderful SeneDerm anti aging products and the SeneGence opportunity with others.
I think I am in hot water with Leslie……. I was quite talkative and told the SeneU attendees A LOT of information about our future plans for growth, new product categories, and products soon to launch. Ooops! Oh, well, every one else will know soon enough. You will be “Wowed” once again!
Alan (our 21 year old) called from Madrid. He’s posted wonderful pictures of his trip on Facebook…or MySpace (Can’t remember which). Al has quite a knack for photography. He’s got a fever so he’s headed back to the hotel in Switzerland (home base for his summer travels).
Tues 07/07
Memorial for Michael Day. Sad. We are the same age. Three children. Note to self: stick to good health plan and be very careful about medication of any type.
We are planning to host a Social Networking webinar to teach Distributors how to use that media to enhance their SeneGence business. Go to the web to register in your SeneGence.com back office.
Mon 07/06
Kandee Johnson, the new YouTube makeup artist phenomena visited the office today for about an hour and a half. She loves LipSense, our long lasting lip color and learned more about the rest of our anti aging SeneDerm skincare and SenseCosmetics products…and boy! What a Doll she is! Perhaps…just perhaps we can work together on some up coming projects. Stay tuned!
Sun 07/05
I traveled to a beloved Distributors home to conduct a Demo in LaVerne. Most of the guests purchased the SeneDerm anti aging skin care products and two signed on as Distributors through ‘Friends Make Sense” promotion. I’ll call Mona Lisa to learn the end total.
Thur 07/03
The Office will be closed tomorrow. Happy Fourth of July everyone. Aren’t we a joyous crowd able to celebrate the benefits and pleasures of Independence for country and business alike? We are surely blessed as a nation and as Independent Distributors of SeneGence International. I emphasize International simply because as we’ve expanded to other countries, we’ve learned there are limitations placed upon independent contractors of various countries not found here in America.
Wed 07/02
Today is dedicated to Seminar 2010. Big news….and no, I am not saying a word at the moment. However, we have a ‘tweeter’ here in the office somewhere who may share the news before I get to it! I hear there is a ‘SeneScoop’ on twitter.com. I am going to sign up to learn more about what’s going on in here! J
Mon 06/29
Big things happening this week. We are very busy organizing and planning for our collective SeneGence successful futures; improvements; extensions. Success and excitement is in the air. Details will soon be announced. J
Mon 06/22
Catch Up Week…. We had an absolutely gorgeous trip. I highly suggest that everyone take a loved one on an Alaskan cruise. The beauty of the land is unbelievable, truly majestic. Glaciers are a marvel. The wildlife is a wonder to behold. No Palin sightings.
Someone on the ship asked my husband if we were the owners of Clinique (“what do you do?’ came up during our first dinner). “No”, he responded. “We have a cosmetic company with products that really work….SeneGence. Have you heard of it?” I was proud of him! He sounds just like one of us. J
Tues 06/09
Later this week Ben and I are off to another journey – the annual SeneGence SeneStar Trip cruise to Alaska. I am excited!!! I plan to relax, make progress on the SeneGence Product Knowledge Manual (A true act of love as I love writing about our SeneDerm & SenseCosmetics line) Packing for vacation. Hmmmm … we leave Friday morning so I guess I’ll stay up even later than usual Thursday after William falls asleep to fill my suitcase with warm clothing. I’ll send pictures if able …
Mon 06/08
Where are my new SeneDerm products!!! They were suppose to be here….I just can’t wait to tell you about them! Patience …
Technology - I joined Twitter. At least I think I did. I instructed to text a code to a number…don’t know if I did it correctly. I’ll wait to see what happens. Do any of you Tweet? (Is that correct?)
Immediately after arriving to work each morning Alan Skype’s me from a city somewhere in EU. He is now in Italy having a wonderful time touring…you can view his pictures on Facebook under Alan Rogers if you like. ‘Come to find out He’s quite skilled as a photographer.
Sun 06/07
Saturday’s Sene-U was very lively and fun. ‘Lots of discussions surrounding LipSense, of course. The Ladies are completely enamored with Climate Control and our new SeneDerm Shampoo& Conditioner. Attendees from the Taylor-Swade and Jerni Dominions proved to be great students and wonderful women. I’m in need of planning three Glamour launch demos with the Jerni Gals.
I’ve decided to wander out to visit with a few Distributors and conduct SeneGence Trainings, Glamour Clinics and Senegence Sponsoring events. I’m thinking Pamela B. in Florida; Kaylen Y. in Texas; Dawn C. in Oklahoma; and Jeri T. & Cathy H. in Las Vegas.
Watch for upcoming announcements with dates and times … It’s always exciting to meet our new SeneGence Distributors throughout the States.
Thurs 6/04
Friends DO Make Sense! – Tuesday evening following the conference call I conducted a launch demo. There were 9 guests and two Distributors (the Sponsor of the Newbie & Newbie Distributor) attending. Time for ‘the close’ rolled around. I explained ‘Friends Make Sense’ – joining the company with a Friend for only $22.50 each and purchasing products for themselves, friends, and family for 20% to 50% off suggested retail direct from the company. They had so much fun with that term…One of the gals asked of the group “Who will be my friend?” They each chimed in, one at-a-time, “I’ll be your friend if you really need one”; “Forget it – I know you too well!”; “I’ll be your friend if you’ll be mine”; “I have too many friends as it is” … And laughter all around. It was so surreal….exactly as I had imagined it to be when I thought of the idea….girlfriends sitting around deciding who would sign up under who … Three of them joined us and the Newbie placed an order the next day in excess of $750 (I have yet to hear the exact sales number). Another fun and profitable evening for SeneGence Distributors.
Mon 5/25
Memorial Day…. I just want to thank each of you and all of your family members who have in one way or another served our country helping to make our country a safe haven in which to live. I think of those close to me that I love…..my biological Dad, William, who served two (terms?) as a Marine in Vietnam and of my Father, Jerry, who served our country in the military even during his college years…and all of the other men in my family who served as well. I have no doubt you too know and love those who have served on our behalf. I send them prayers of thanks and to those who are still with us – much gratitude for their sacrifices.
Sat 5/23
It sure is quiet here in the office…I am the only one here…catching up on e-mails and yet-to-finish projects. Awaiting opening on my desk was a package. I received the new prototypes of three of our newest products to come…. I am soooo excited!!! They are fantastic. Our line just keeps getting better. We are all going to have GORGEOUS skin at age 100 Years YOUNG!!!
Fri 5/22
Ben and William spent the day at Disneyland yesterday (for the second time this week!) while I and the Marketing Team attended a business women’s meeting (We gathered lots of names of those who want to try our products and even some who want to join our ranks). While dressing William for his day of fun, I sprayed his arms (throat & ears, too), face, and legs with our SeneSun SPF 30 Sunscreen to protect him from the burning rays of the sun….a must if you are spending the day at a Disneyland. I am pleased to report he returned home from his exciting Daddy Day without a single red or pink tint to his delicate skin!
Thur 5/21
Nanny is on vacation this week so Ben and I took turns watching William….I claimed Mon., Wed., Fri with William and Tues., Thur., Sat., for work; Ben traded roles on the alternative days. Needless to say I am not making much progress on the Manual… I will definitely complete the first one, the Distributor Demo Manual next week. I plan to begin to compose the new Product Knowledge Manual while traveling on our Alaskan cruise that leaves in a couple of weeks. Ben will enjoy the cruise ‘spa package’ so I’ll have plenty of quiet time to concentrate on the details and script.
Thur 5/14
Soooo…. I am driving on an LA area freeway on my way to a new Distributor’s launch demo last night when I hear someone honking at me. This time, when I hear the HONK HONK I am a little confused with why someone would act in such an aggressive manner towards me as I am sure I did not nearly swerve into any of the cars in the next lanes while digging in my purse, reading something, or fiddling with the radio. They honked again! ‘Turns out, it’s another beloved SeneGence Distributor I haven’t seen in a while. We both turned off the nearest on ramp to chat and catch up…Mona Lisa is newly married and moved to a new area. I volunteered to do a launch demo for her in the new neighborhood once she settles in; hugs and good byes….
On to the evening’s demo at Sondra’s beautiful home. Oh my goodness! It was a mob! There were so many women there, with the murmur of chit-chat so loud I had to shout for the women around the kitchen island to hear application instruction in waves of 6 at a time…I never did meet all of them…and in fact, never did an actual demo…...I promised Sondra demos weren’t normally this hectic and that I would return next week to conduct a full demo for her training…but please limit attendance to seven. She sold over $1000.00…with plenty more to come…. J
Mon 5/10
I have a renewed appreciation for SenseCosmetics…. This past 3 day weekend (Happy Mother’s Day!) I spent with William in and out of the pool…going to the park; back to the pool; running to the store; back to the pool; getting a bite to eat at a restaurant; back to the pool…. And guess what? I did not have to touch up my make-up one single time during the day between pool and outings! My make-up not only protected my face from the sun, it did not rub off or smear….the color looked fresh during errand time. I did not have to waste time primping…William and I did not miss a beat – it was go-go-go the entire weekend.
I think I had begun to take our fantastic line of color technology and anti aging skin care for granted again….until this weekend in the sun (and probably since our last ‘dive’ vacation in Hawaii) After all, I been wearing the products every day (and night) as we’ve been adding them item by item to our arsenal of color and skin care for at least ten years, now. As I thought back reflecting on a weekend spent at the pool with Alan (21 year old) when he was William’s age (21 months old) I remember I could wear no make-up or I had to constantly reapply make-up before I appeared in public as my complexion wasn’t nearly as great as it is today. Thank goodness for SeneDerm & SenseCosmetics for making life easier!
Tues 5/05
I received an e-mail from Queen Jeri Taylor regarding LashExtend and just had to share a portion of it! We have before and after pictures of her toes with NailSense: Her Neck with SeneSerum-C; and now her lashes with LashExtend. Jeri – all in parts from head to toe! J
Before LashExtend
After LashExtend
Mon 5/04
…Had a fun weekend….It was SeneU. Seasoned and new Distributors attended. SeneU seems always like a girls’ day out to me…Meeting up with familiar faces who have helped to build the company (heartwarming) and greeting the newbies into our folds (exciting to meet new people you know you will be having fun with and working with for years to come); Sharing success tips and teaching about our fantastic products…. SeneU is a holiday 12 times a year! ….What’s even more fun is to watch the successes of Distributors when they return home from SeneU!
Fri 5/01
I have a confession. Sunday evening after Seminar I washed and conditioned my hair with our new SeneStyle Shampoo and Conditioner with Shea Butter. The result was well conditioned hair that is smooth as silk with lots of bounce and shine. So….I wanted see how long that bounce and shine would last. Here’s the kicker….I did not wash my hair for the following 10 days! And, I could have gone even longer as it was still full of body and shine. I was thrilled…but was forced to wash it as yesterday was Ben and my 5th Wedding Anniversary and I ‘upped my game’ from head to toe preparing for a lovely evening together. And, Romantic it was…
Tue 4/28
It’s been awhile since I’ve written…..Mostly because I did not want to spill the beans regarding Seminar surprises!
Our Ten Year Anniversary Seminar was wonderful….lots of cheer and hugs all around as we beamed together….and rightfully so, in our accomplishments. Seminar Highlights? Here are just a few of my favorites:
My Sister, Millie personally made our gorgeous 3 ½ foot ‘Celebration’ cake from scratch…..A true work of art!
Distributor Skit…. Pictured from left to right: Queen & Highest Ranking Distributor, Jeri Taylor-Swade; Royal & Oklahoma State Leader, Dawn Christian; Royal & Washington State Leader, Katie Sevenants; and Lady, #1 in Personal Sales & Sponsor, & New York State Leader, Karole Lewis.
A snap shot of some of the SeneGence Ladies who received Annual Awards for their accomplishments. Look at these gorgeous faces….proof positive our products really work!
Another winning product launch – Our new drug free proprietary formulation, LashExtend grows eyelashes 25% longer in 2 weeks….and is priced up to $100 LESS than the competitions’ at only $45.00 for a 6 months supply.
Inner Circle Court Members speed through a ‘racy’ evening at a local K-1 Raceway facility…. You can imagine the competition was fierce!
Fun for all; Distributors spent an evening learning at a working Dinner & PJ Party… The PJ outfits were very creative!
Industry Icon Keynote Speaker, Sylvia Boyd ‘wows’ Distributors with her Directs Sells wisdom gained from a legacy of accomplishments. The gorgeous trunks used for backdrops were auctioned throughout the event with proceeds going to our non profit MakeSense Foundation ‘Helping Women and Children in Need’.
And, of course, no entry would be complete without a picture of my little angel taken Awards Night; William in his first tuxedo at 20 months. He now walks around the house murmuring ‘tuxedo’.
We are already working on next’s year’s Seminar….Be sure to come as it will be an event you will not want to miss!
Sun 3/29
Here in the office again. This time I will be very productive…or else! First things first, though. I need to send off several e-mails and make a few calls to the women I’ve met this week while attending Wednesday’s mixer and a Salon’s Open House I attended for one of our local Distributors early Friday evening. I intend to begin to book demos for the week following Seminar so that I can take and teach Distributors the ‘demo how-to’s.
Sat 3/28
Hello….I am here in the office…..’supposed to be writing for Seminar while Ben takes William to swim class. So far today I’ve managed to dust and polish the furniture in my office, water a few plants, rearrange some files on my desk top, and write to you…..Now seems like a really great time to drive home for a nap. Perhaps I’ll dream up some inspiration J
Thurs 3/26
I had so much fun last night during a local business women’s mixer. I met some fabulous women (all who just have to try our products, of course)…. The highlight was the raffle. I won a brunch for four at the Saint Regis …How fun is that? I was so surprised! I think I’ll treat my mother, mother-in-law, and sister for a ‘girl’s day out’ the week after Seminar as they will each be here to help Ben and I celebrate our ‘Ten Year Anniversary of SeneGence’ in a couple of weeks.
Mon 3/23
Two new converts – Yesterday we attended a dear friend’s 60 Birthday party. The hostess, of course, is a religious SeneDerm and SenseCosmetics user – the entire line….Her skin is beautiful. The women I was sitting with while enjoying a slice of birthday cake commented on her skin. Ha-Ha! My opportunity to speak up – “That’s because she uses ______ (you can imagine the description). And notice how fresh her makeup looks….it isn’t smudging off or fading….” Both left the event with card in hand and a commitment to go to the web to find a distributor….’work’ certainly is a pleasure.
Wed 3/18
Yesterday we took William to the San Diego Zoo (He was ‘wowed’). While eating in one of the exotic and refreshing food courts I spied a woman applying LipSense Gloss to the lip color on her lips after her meal. I introduced myself, thanked her for her patronage, and asked where she found the product. She attended a SeneGence demo years ago….Joanna is her SeneGence Distributor and she just can’t live without the product! Good work Joanna!
Tues 3/17
Oh, so fun! This past weekend Ben, William (our 19 month old) and I loaded up the bus and traveled to Arizona for a long visit with Mom and Dad. Along the way we welcomed aboard 2 boys…obviously out for Spring Break. They were on their way to Lake Havasu, our destination, to enjoy the spoils of partying the way only college kids can. One of them asked what SeneGence was (as stated on the SeneBus). I told him. He was so excited…It turns out his mother uses LipSense. He dialed her to tell her ‘who just happened to give’m a ride to the Lake’ on the spot. Oh – what a small world….and oh, how great it is to know the brand is ‘used and loved’ by so many.
Mon 03/02
We are so blessed! While at home, I saw and heard three different reports on television broadcast for today on "Lipstick Index" or "Lipstick Sales and the Economy" and how that sales are booming. It seemed to be the only ray of good news. Believe me when I say I thank God we are in the right business as my heart goes out to so many who have lost so much.
I can only pray each of our SeneGence Distributors’ is reaching out to every woman they see and offering them the ‘choice’. What they are really offering to the woman is hope and security for the women’s family... during these uncertain times. I am so grateful we’ve designed a variety of ways that allows women the chance to earn income - for less than $25.00 to get started.
For the woman who is not afraid to take the helm and chart a destiny of her own making through demos with products that really work...SeneGence is here for her. Perhaps this is why SeneGence exists.... for this moment in history and beyond.
Mon 2/23
I just have to say one more thing about NailSense...It is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! I glanced at the condition of my nails to determine whether or not I needed to make a quick stop at the salon for a touch up before heading to work. Although this past weekend there were several sink Comet cleanses, at least a dozen silver serving trays wiped with Tarnex, much hand ringing of mops to clean up messes on the kitchen floor, and hundreds of counter and table top cleansing swipes... the NailSense on my nails is perfect!!!!! Our NailSense, without-a-doubt is the best nail color in the market....tested and verified!
Sun 2/21
It’s been almost a month since I sat down to write. Ben and William are at swim class this afternoon...and the young adults in the house a still a sleep - that means a rare little peace and quiet for me.
Much has happened in the last month. The main reason I haven’t written is that we’ve been spending literally every waking moment (that I am not with the family or sleeping) developing, writing, and putting the final touches on our new Distributor programs. There were many areas that required attention and co ordination. I know you will love what you see...let me know your thoughts.
This weekend we hosted a large party...emptied the formal living room of all furniture and turned it into a Mardi-Gras-French-style-New Orleans-Balcony scene restaurant and served dishes found in New Orleans. You can find fantastic wall murals in party stores for a dime that changes a room instantly. The party was very festive. ‘Guests dressed for Mardi-Gras...all had a great time.
Six weeks till Seminar!!! Yeah!....my favorite time of the year where I get to see many of our beloved distributors. And - this year is very special as we gather to celebrate our TEN YEAR anniversary...Wow! How time has flown so quickly.
There’s a lot of work to do...New products, I have promised to complete new and updated manuals, and new exciting support programs. One thing is for sure...SeneGence continues it’s commitment for constant improvements.
One more thing...we can’t discount how blessed we have been, how fortunate we are to represent products that really work and that are recession proof, and how amazingly comforting it is to know we are each capable of proving for our families needs through our business model.
Mon 01/26
Saturday Demo with Ellen V. was very fun, as usual. I met 4 wonderful women, with $1800.00 plus in sales two of them became SeneGence Distributors. Good times – good money…where else can you make hundreds of dollars of profit within two hours in today’s economy? Many of her guests could not make it so we are going to book another demo date…women still need LipSense despite the economy!
Fri 01/23
My model for Monday night’s Glam N Gloss, Lisa P. became a new Distributor. She came into the office yesterday for a makeover…and a little training. I think she’ll do very well! Tomorrow I have a demo scheduled with Ellen V…..20 people! Oh, my! That’s a large group to handle all at once. I prefer 5 to 7 women. It’s manageable, you can attend to each, sales seem to increase per person when the group is smaller….and you have plenty of time to schedule future bookings and complete applications for new distributors. I’ll let you know how it turns out….
Wed 01/14
….Busy week planned with a flurry of lunches, dinners, and parties for our two birthdays celebrated this week. Family coming in for the week…..I am taking a few days off for personal time…. I’ll write next week.
Mon 01/12
SeneU was very fun as usual. Kelly R., Carla K., and Mary M. are building pretty impressive downlines and all three Leaders had many new Distributors here in attendance for training.
Tues 01/06
Carmen and I met Allyson M. for a spot of “wow-ing’ today. The result? 5 excited women who are soooo excited to try our products; two of whom I am sure will become Distributors once they experience the products. They were each invited to our Glamour Clinics. We managed to work in a little shopping, too….new blouses for each of us. J
I have the opportunity to lead the Happy Hour call tonight…. ‘Can’t wait to announce our impressive year end growth numbers and 4th quarter sales order results…plus all of the winners for free Seminar, a private luncheon with one of the Industry Greats; Sylvia Boyd; and Top Sponsors for the Month of December.
Tomorrow? I can’t believe it’s already time….Ben and I have an appointment to tour William’s SCHOOL! (Not my baby! tears streaming…) He loves going to DIAPER GYM and Sign class….. Play dates to visit his friends - now, school ALREADY???? Daddy decided he should receive additional, organized educational stimulation…. (Like, he does NOT receive ENOUGH?…more tears…) Okay, I must allow him to grow up 3 one half days a week….but I refuse to discontinue rocking him to sleep every night until he is much older!
Another jaw dropper for me….my other baby Alan turns 21 years old next week! We are fortunate as he is a busy, working, college student attending school locally and living at home. Alan still checks in by calling during the day from time to time to inquire ‘what’s new”. I cherish every day I get to give him a kiss good morning or good night……
Hmmmm…..Life is in fact full of love and abundance…..My ‘Men’ (Husband Ben, Sons Alan & William) are the inspiration and daily motivation to make every day the very best it can possibly become…. I hope you too have that type of inspiration in your life!
Mon 01/05/09 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I wish all great love, abundance, and prosperity in this year to come. I believe it is possible to have all that you desire…as long as it is first built on truth and you are willing to work hard for it. If you desire to become successful in SeneGence – go to your back office and click on Distributor Resources > Marketing Materials and look for “Growth Strategy”. There you will find ‘Book to Build’. I wrote every word of it. It is my tried and proven growth method to building a successful Direct Sells business from your home. Read it…learn it….do it….Use your own style and apply the principles to your daily work schedule……and believe great love, abundance, and prosperity will begin to come to you in 2009.
If you receive my Thursday SeneSupport e-mails….you will soon learn SeneGence has experienced a banner year of growth and sale orders (in all three countries)….despite the current state of the economy.
I look forward to our working, playing, and sharing together. Please know you are in my daily prayers and may God continue to bless SeneGence and all SeneGence Distributors…. Make it a fantastic year! Love - Joni
Thur 12/18
We held a celebration today – to celebrate Olga in SeneCare. She has been with us for 6 years and is retiring at month’s end to stay home with family. Thank you Olga for your service and TLC given to our SeneGence Distributors!
Wed 12/17
Mary M. came by today to pick up the non profit MakeSense Foundation gifts sent from our Distributors for the orphanage. Heart strings…..there are so many to help. We are fortunate we have a built in opportunity to help others as we succeed. Go to you on line order form…there are items of which the proceeds are donated to the Foundation you may order. The MakeSense Foundation helps ‘women and children in need’.
Tue 12/16
Meeting with formulators today….there’s some exciting products coming down the pike!
Fri 12/12
What a party! We were introduced to many, many new friends last night at the open house. Sales were good….but most important for us… contacting women in the area with whom to schedule demos after the New Year. And…this is the truth: a group of four women approached me and stated “we want our skin to look like yours”…. You can imagine my response.
Thur 12/11
Leslie and I are going to ‘man’ a Holiday Open House here in Newport Beach all by ourselves tonight. We are very excited as we plan to turn these contacts into a new incoming group of local Distributors…along with the sales and growth a new grouping represents. I can’t wait to meet our incoming Newbies….they will be there tonight….I just don’t know who they are because we haven’t met yet….
Wed 12/10
Oh My Goodness!!! A last minute complete change in our Holiday plans! Christmas was supposed to be at our house again this year as we have the little one (William) who is 17 months old and wanted to avoid the crowds and airports. So...we completely decorated our house, stocked our shelves and freezer with festive goodies to prepare for holiday dinning…for many out of town guests (friends and family) over a period of 7 days. But….. Kay, my mother-in-law (I say that lovingly…but….) e-mailed to say she could not make it due to a physical limitation. She was to fly in this coming Sunday…. Now she will be alone over Christmas. That is not acceptable to Ben and me. What to do? Cancel dinners and friends – tell other family members not to come ‘till New Years…..We made reservations…
and are now on our way…shipping Christmas across the states…..with baby and all…. Keep me in your prayers over Christmas!! If you live in Alabama and want training or help with a demo….just let me know!
Tues 12/09
More fun at Kelly R.’s Holiday Open House!
Kelly invited other Direct Sells girlfriends representing other lines of products who each displayed their wares…..There were lots of customers in and out all night…Christmas music filled the air, cash a’flow’in, and even two new Distributors signed up under Kelly. It was a festive event and a fruitful way to spend an evening with a wonderful group of women.
Mon 12/08
Today was our Holiday Open House.
It was nice to see local new and seasoned Distributors has they stopped in for a bit of holiday cheer. Some even brought gifts for the orphanage supported by our not for profit MakeSense Foundation. Thank you, Ladies for your generous spirits and giving hearts!
Fri 12/05
You can’t believe how much fun it is to answer the receptionist phone as calls from Distributors are coming in…. I hear lots of great ideas …and color combos from Distributors on the other end of the phone. Marketing members rotate days of the week answering the phone. It helps us stay in touch and better understand the issues and challenges of our Distributors. I am assigned Fridays. We have a chance to understand and learn the system that has been put in place required to track changes and facilitate solutions. In the past couple of weeks we’ve been able to completely eliminate some of the challenges simply by identifying the replicating challenge and finding a solution to the problem within the appropriate department. Keep those calls coming in…you never know who will answer eager to help you!
Tues 12/02
Today Carmen and I visited the Hotel scheduled to host Seminar 2009 ‘Destination Demo’ for an event walk-through. I got chills as I realized we are about to begin executing the plans for our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY in April!!! Oh, my goodness!! How time flies….and how far we have come! This is definitely an event you will not want to miss!
Afterwards – I dashed down the freeway to Fullerton for a ‘wowing’ and lunch experience with Ellen V. It was, of course, fun.Ellen got several names of women who are now waiting for a call from her to set a date to try this amazing product. If you learn to “Wow” – you will never lack business – or profits!
Mon 12/01
Glamour Clinic Night! Always a hoot…. The girls wanted to work on booking techniques too….Each had several upcoming appointments in their calendars this next two weeks. They are certainly on the go for the holidays!
Fri 11/28
Carmen and I came into the office today to assemble and decorate our company Christmas tree. It’s become our annual ritual mostly for the cause and benefit of the MakeSense Foundation.
The MakeSense Foundation collects gifts for children in a local orphanage. Distributor Mary M. who is in some way involved with the orphanage collects the gifts and delivers them.
Gifts are sent in from areas located all over the county by our leveling Distributors….This is yet another example of the way in which we women are so willing to help others in need…..There is a list of needs for the orphanage in the weekly SeneSentiments if you are interested.
Tues 11/25
Today we held our company Thanksgiving luncheon. It was delicious…Spirits were high with the room a buzz…. conversations and sharing amongst the team.
Carmen won the prize, movie tickets, for best desert. She made a cake from scratch without referring to a recipe. We were all quite impressed.
Sat 11/22
Today I darted over to Allyson’s for a demo. Her girlfriends are lovely – They are going to host a ‘Double Host” Demo here at the office in January. That means both invite their own guest list and earn there own host credit…. both on the same night at the same location….should be fun!
Tues 11/18:
Allyson M. & I had lunch at a darling local bistro. We met a beautiful woman and asked her to join us at a Glam N Gloss as a model….she was excited and couldn’t wait to try our products!
Friday 11/14:
Skype Training –
We conducted our first International Web Training Friday evening. It was as if V.P. Leslie, Queen Jeri and I were right there in a room full of gals who were actually sitting in a hotel meeting room in Australia!
We broadcasted our program from SeneGence in the newly designed upstairs studio. The studio is beautifully furnished and equipped with four different scene stages – one area each ffor product knowledge, demos, topic trainings, and one for guests’ events.

Our Skype videoconference was projected from a laptop here in the office to a laptop there in a hotel located in Perth, AU, then transmitted through a projector onto a large screen for our Aussie SeneSisters to view.
The training was powerful and the recognition translated just beautifully…even clapping for achievements of our Leaders across the world was real time as they received their awards that had been sent over there ahead of time. We learned that we can change stages easily, use a white board for presentations, and even project PowerPoint presentations.
Skype is an incredible medium, as it offers us a whole new opportunity to reach hundreds more Distributors than we do within our usual travel-training.
The Leaders here, in Canada, and in Australia are coming online and ‘meeting face to face’ with one another.
I just happened to turn on the TV one day this past week and saw people Skype-ing into Oprah!
Amazing….
Get online and stay in touch!!

Tues 11/11:
Ellen and I had such a wonderful time last night traveling back and forth to Victorville.
Hundreds of dollars in sales and a new Distributor first line to Ellen. Later, the drive allotted plenty of time for goal setting and to create a 'plan for success' with Ellen.
One exciting new element for Ellen is that she is going to begin to use Skype (webcam based conferencing) to contact her friends and family on the east coast, do demos on line, and start training her far away newbies via the web. We booked a launch demo at her house and scheduled time to "WOW".
It's true - once you learn to "WOW" 'em wherever you go, you are never out of business!
Mon 11/10:
Lucinda M. called me today very excited. Lucinda was one of our SeneU attendees. She sponsored another gal yesterday. She's on her way to Africa!
I am writing this on my lap top as Ellen V. is driving. We are on our way to Victorville for a demo of 15 to 20 gals. Should be a party!
We'll sponsor a few newbie's so the area has a Distributor to service the guests' SeneNeeds! (didn't think it possible to find another Seneword)
Sun 11/09:
SeneU was the best! Excitement ... fun! - dynamic learning!
I have no doubt the group of Ladies who attended will make future Leaders in SeneGence. Kelly R. lives nearby and has now attended 3 classes. She says she learns something new every time.
You bet you do... because it's impossible to learn 100% of the information the first time you hear it.
Watch for Kelly ... she's a rising SeneStar.
Fri 11/07:
Carmen told me that a couple of Distributors have asked to have me send pictures to them of my little angel. She told them she would instruct me to include one in the blog...Okay, so..she twisted my arm. :-)
Here is the latest picture of our little Mate at Halloween:

Wed 11/05:
Okay...the nail biting is over.
We have a new Commander-In-Chief who needs our support during his term.
Let's all do our parts and do what it takes to pull us out of these times.
############
Thurs 11/06:
The office is in a flurry preparing for one of our largest SeneU's to date. I am excited to have the chance to spend time with both seasoned Distributors and new Distributors.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Wed 11/05:
Okay...the nail biting is over.
We have a new Commander-In-Chief who needs our support during his term.
Let's all do our parts and do what it takes to pull us out of these times.
Tues 10/28:
Leslie returned from the Glam & Gloss tour in Houston, Oklahoma and Minnesota.
A great time was had by all.
Guests and Distributors alike learned more about our amazing product line and career opportunity. Leslie welcomed several new Distributors hailing from each area into the SeneGence fold.
Welcome aboard, Ladies!
Mon 10/27:
I spent spare hours this past weekend watering the office plants; fertilizing, trimming and spraying.
A task I intentionally set aside for myself . The office looks brighter and healthier when the plants and flowers are well attended; an air of goodness and wellbeing permeates throughout the building when our foliage is happy.
Fri 10/24:
What a hoot! I spent the evening at Lucinda's gorgeous house with 35 of her closest friends teaching them about our skin care and SenseCosmetics.
I'm telling you...they have the largest television I have ever seen.. It was so big and complicated looking. I just knew we were going to have problems watching the SeneGence DVD.'cuz you can bet I did not know how to turn it on!
Sure enough..even the teenagers couldn't figure out how to turn it on..Now you know that's big! The demo was fun.sold lots, booked more demos, met knew Distributors.. She's going to host a pajama party demowith another group of girlfriends.I think I'll wear my lip pjs. :-)
Wed 10/22:
Carla K, a Distributor who has been with us for years conducted her first demo in years for a guests she brought to the Glam & Gloss....over $700.00 dollars.
Great way to re launch her business!
Mon 10/20:
Leaders Conference was great!
DDD Leslie delivered a spell binding training ..and Sylvia B., our industry expert was absolutely marvelous! It was great to see the Field Leader Ladies.. I miss them in between events...
We had a lovely Eiffel Tower Dinner.and a funny.cheesy dinner show the following evening... fun.fun.as always..priceless experiences.
Thur 10/16:
We are off to Las Vegas for Leaders Conference....more fun, fun, fun!
Life is good when you are constantly mixing fun and work (if you can call this work) as we all get to do in Cosmetics Direct Sales.
Learning from the experts, dinner shows. meetings..product & support launches. fine dining & group lunches, sharing ideas, planning for the future with our SeneGence Leaders.
It just doesn't get any better.
Wed 10/15:
Fun Fun!
Last night Kelly R hosted a Glam N Gloss in San Bernardino.
Funny how women view eyebrows.to some they are foreign objects.
It's great to know we have a SIMPLE WAY TO TEACH WOMEN HOW TO DESIGN THEIR OWN PERFECT BROWS.THAT STAY ON ALL DAY. We spent quite a bit of time on them last night but I believe everyone was pleasantly surprised and happy at how simple perfecting their look can actually be when you are instructed properly.
Mon 10/13:
The message at church yesterday was a message of inspiration dealing with each of our individual greatness.
I believe we are each great in our own way, and each here on earth to accomplish a specific task. To provide loving, uplifting, support, guidance, education, wisdom, and simply. "a way to"..and so much more for and between one another. It may be a simple smile of approval that impacts a child's life..It could be a straight forward suggestion to a friend. You never know. As long as you come from a place of truth, just know it is all in God's plan. I learned long ago that it's not up to me to understand why.
Pray for courage, strength, and wisdom to move forward in God's plan for us and do so in love and abundance.
Wed 10/08:
Busy seeing to the final touches for Leaders' Conference in Las Vegas.
Wow!
In review..we have sure accomplished a lot in past 12 months since last Leaders. Every year and every step is a practice of continuous improvement.
I am excited (and impressed) with the improvements slated for 2009 I will be sharing with our Leaders. I can't wait to meet our new Leaders, as I am sure they are exceptional women!
Mon 10/06:
With out a doubt.we completed our best SeneU weekend ever.
The energy was exciting, attitudes are highly optimistic. The ladies who attended were fantastic! One woman, Valerie, came all the way from Montana.
They learned a lot and kept busy taking notes non stop. It's so rewarding to know we are each a part of a team who are excited to have the opportunity to excel, succeed, and to live our dreams. I have no doubt that these ladies will achieve their dreams through SeneGence!
Wed 10/01:
So.... I am at home writing today. A package is delivered. It's from my darling Mother-In-Law (really.) What's in it? Toys for William, and a note.
"I just know Ben would be thrilled if you kept this full of treats for William to enjoy. It will bring fond memories to Ben." It's Ben's Grandmother's Howdy Doody looking Cookie Jar. And sure enough, Ben beamed with joy when he saw it, stating "My Ka-Ka always had delicious treats in the cookie jar. We used to try to guess what goodie would be waiting for us in the jar each time we visited Ka-Ka's house"...and on and on with loving memories.
Great. Now what to do? I certainly had no intention of working a Howdy-Doody cookie jar into the design of my kitchen... or any cookie jar for that matter. The funny things you do for those you love...I'll have to find a home in my kitchen for "Boots"

Tues 9/30:
Bet you haven't heard this one! Last night, on my way to a demo I decided to stop at the mall and purchase new 'under garments'. Once in the changing room, for the sake of time, I decided to leave one of them on. I tore the labels off the garment and presented them along with other garments to the check out person. She was lovely and of course, I exchanged names with her to call for a demo of our products. As I left the store, I set off the alarm. Someone checked my bag and proclaimed all devices had been removed.." Please proceed".
After the demo I stopped at my local grocery store to pick up a box of diapers. As I walked in the store the alarm went off. Familiar employees heads are up and looking at me.waving me into the store with a smile. At check out, the darling clerk and I smiled at one another. I said to her "You are never going to believe this, but I think the problem is that just tonight I purchased a new under garment and the 'alarm strip' is still on it." She laughed and said 'They are quite large and you would know it." That eased my mind about the garment, but led into a lively discussion of fashion.I said "you know - I am glad we had a chance to chat because I've been looking for a way to tell you about my product.." She can't wait to get together.
In the parking lot, I walked by a car and the alarm sounded. Wow! If it's not a magnetic strip, then I am sure emitting a strong energy tonight!
At home changing into my night clothes for the evening, I indeed found a small flat magnetic strip on the garment. Thankful for a little unusual fun and a unique opportunity that allowed me to find in roads to speak to others about the product.. I marveled over how every thing we do is always an opportunity to progress, no matter how bizarre.
Mon 9/29 :
Climate Control comes to the rescue! It's been really hot here. A rash appeared on William's thigh. Needless to say, when nature called during the night the stinging of the rash woke him AND the entire household in the middle of the night.
We showered the area with cool water, spritzed Climate Control and fanned to eliminate the stinging (only then did he stop crying...) We applied a layer of antibacterial, topped it off with pharmaceutical grade petroleum to 'seal' and prevent further exposure to fluids, and rocked the exhausted little guy back to sleep.
The next morning, the rash was completely gone. Climate Control is amazing.
Wed 9/24:
Yesterday I awoke very excited. I was scheduled to report to a surgery center for a procedure on my foot.
Why excited? Every time I drive by a hospital I get the jitters. Jitters of joy ‘cuz I know the building is full of women who need our products.
Okay, so I prepared to show up with plenty of time to spare and many Beauty Books in hand so I can scope out my opportunities and make sure I have ample time to talk to as many nurses as I can. I want to walk away with at least half a dozen nurses’ names and numbers.
Well, I walk into the reception area to find no one around.
After the sound of a wind chime rings, the receptionist comes out. It’s a man, who announces to me he is pleased that I am early because the Doctor is running ahead of schedule and he can begin the procedure immediately. (Rats!)
I am ushered to the surgery room. Oh, goody – a female nurse. Almost sternly, she hands me a gown asks me to follow her.
While I change into the gown, she is reviewing my medical history and speaking 500 words a minute. She hands me a pen to sign some forms, then leads me back to where my gurney is located, then leaves as abruptly as she showed up.
This isn’t quite what I had in mind when I left the house this morning!
Another man approaches who tells me he is my nurse for the day. Yikes! He pokes the I.V. in my hand while another man, the anesthesiologist, asks more medical questions. The male nurse then announces I may begin to feel sleepy.
The next thing I know I am in a wheel chair being wheeled out to the car where Ben awaits to take me home. As I move from the wheel chair to the car seat I look out to see a lovely nurse lending a hand. As I groggily thanked her for her kindness and remarked on how efficient the facility was run, I said “I am sure there was something else I wanted to say but I can’t remember at the moment.”
So much for the best laid plans!
I headed home for some R&R.
Mon 9/22:
Saturday’s Glam N Gloss held here at the office was fun.
I always enjoy meeting our newest Distributors.
Afterward, we set dates for "wow-ing” and launch demos for the attendees….
More fun to come!
Thurs 9/18:
Leslie, Paul & I had fun recording a new Sponsoring CD today. I know you will like it!

Mon 9/15:
WHERE DID LAST WEEK GO?
Okay – I have to admit I was a bit ‘out of commission’ last week due to a much needed overhaul in the repair shop. I even missed Sene-U – which I NEVER DO!

Lots to do this week to catch up with E-MAILS, projects (recording a new sponsoring CD & writing ‘Your Book’), assignments (MakeSense Foundation), correspondence (International Interests & Prospects), articles (Newsletter and Magazine), trainings (SeneCare & Distributors), and some fun, too (Demo Saturday am & Glam N Gloss Saturday afternoon)
I will be in the office if you need me……make it a great week!
Mon 9/01:
Happy Labor Day.
I have to tell a great story. We attended a party where one of the women shared the fact that she had a heat rash in a rather delicate area, and it was hurting her.
First she excused herself to the ladies room to apply an antibiotic cream.
Yikes! It burned.
Another woman suggested Diaper____ (something) as that is what she puts on rashes for her child.
MORE BURNING! (...and we use this on our children??)
I handed her the bottle of Climate Control from William’s diaper bag. At last, relief!
I sold 12 bottles of Climate Control on the spot. $500…..
Not bad for a relaxing, barbeque day at the pool.
Sat 8/30:
My thoughts are with our beloved Distributors along the Gulf Coast…and residents of same.
I pray for their safety…..
Fri 8/29:
Rhona K. was in today. I asked her the forever ongoing question – “When are we booking your demo?” This week her response number 1137 was “I can’t because my refrigerator is in the middle of my living room. Catch me next week…” - waving her arm above her head signaling a goodbye as she walked out the door. Priceless….I can’t wait to hear excuse number 1138 next week.
Thurs 8/28:
Last night at Jo’s house was a hoot! $900.00 plus in sales and a great group of ladies. It appeared they knew one another from the Women’s Republican Group and Tennis…Jo and Linda will book several follow up demos….
It’s it great to know one event continues to pay off into the future? Time well spent!
Tues 8/26:
New Mother, Renee C. is at this moment in the lobby demo-ing with a referral customer – a complete glamour makeover.
She does such a great job! ($$)
Luann G. brought Banana Bread for the staff, (wasn’t that sweet?) and Jo & Linda K. came by to pick up their product orders and to discuss the demo we are conducting at their house together tomorrow night.
I told them not to serve alcohol until after our demo. It seems if alcohol is served before or during…the guests tend to wander to other topics or interest (lack of focus).
Actual experience indicates sales, sponsoring, and bookings are more plentiful in the absence of alcohol. Good advice passed onto other Distributors….
Mon 8/25:
Home Sweet Home –
Mother and Wife- (my favorite titles of all!) - that was this past weekend’s theme.
(Okay, so I did answer company e-mails & work on a SeneGence Australian project during naptimes!.)
Strolling around the neighborhood, play time, making dinner together, repotting beloved orchids (the orchid is our company flower, because they are as beautiful and varied as our SeneGence Distributors...) sunshine, and lots of swimming!
Family time is bliss.
I am ready and recharged for a new & productive SeneWeek!
…hope you are, too.
Fri 8/22:
I am so excited to announce that we'll soon be launching a separate website for SeneSerum-C!
The site will include some very important and significant elements.
- A video blog depicting the changes in Leslie’s skin from the time she began using the product…. the step by step progress from using SeneSerum-C. Other companies show "simulated" results for their anti-aging products, but since our products really work, we can show the real thing!
- An audio interview with the product formulator of SeneSerum-C.
- And of course, some very clear instructions on how to use the product (in tandem with Climate Control) for the best possible results.
Thurs 8/21:
I can’t believe the kids are already back in school in so many areas throughout the country.
Hmmmm…. we’ll have to do something special for all of the moms to take advantage of the time now that the kids are gone during the day!
Ideas, anyone?
J
Wed 8/20:
Just spent the last three days with my mother, my father, and my sister, Millie – doing the ‘loop’. Millie and I drove from California to Arizona. First to return Mom back home, which then gave us a chance to visit with Mom and Dad.
Then we drove to Prescott, AZ to visit and spend the night with Priscilla M.
And finally, we arrived in Phoenix to visit my darling niece. During the entire three days, I was accessible and productive, taking care of business and touching base with various people.
Oh, the wonders of wireless laptops and mobile phones! As long as you are ‘plugged’ in, it doesn’t matter from where you are ‘taking care of business’. I love direct sales!
This morning I boarded a plane and returned home.
Fri 8/15:
Yesterday Flor A. and I conducted our first training for her growing Spanish-speaking down line in the Long Beach area. It went quite well. Most of us met for the first time. We applied makeup and combined it with lots of product knowledge….the girls left with orders in hand and excitement about their futures.
After training, I met up with Robert Ahola to talk about “Your Story”. He gave me my next writing assignment. You're all gonna love the book!!
My entire family is in town for William’s first birthday party this weekend. Here he is celebrating with us on the anniversary of his birth….

Mon 8/11:
I am thrilled that calls and e-mails are coming in on a daily basis to book…book….book demos!
We sent out a letter to Distributors in the area stating that I'm available for hands-on training for those who desire to learn how to demo, sale, and sponsor.
It’s very exciting to finally have the opportunity to work with so many of our long term loyal Distributors (as well as some of our newer Distributors!) and have a chance to train them so they can take their businesses to the next level of prosperity.
Thur 8/7:
Kelly R. joined us for lunch today, and then we had an afternoon goal setting session.
Every month, we hold a company luncheon to celebrate departmental achievements and birthdays. Departments vied for winnings; we played ‘Hoops’ and “Batting”. SeneCare won the contest. Kelly had fun, and departed with training dates for her area, and a great plan of action in hand.
Flor A. also came in for a goal setting meeting today. She wants to lead the growing Spanish speaking market. We put a plan into place (for her and for corporate.) I'd better brush up on my Spanish!
Tues 8/5:
Hot! . Hot! . Hot!
I drove out to Palm Springs today to visit with vacationing Karole L. and daughter Kimmee. It was 103 in the shade! We lounged at the pool, chatted and ate lunch.
Tough day…but someone has to do it!
J
Sun 8/03:
I have a tough time calling this "work."
Oh, my goodness! I had so much fun at the home of Kelly R. today.
It was her launch demo....I stayed for hours as I really didn't want to leave. The women in attendance were amazing entrepreneurs, each in their own rights. I met 4 newer Distributors I'd not met prior, and we signed up 5 more new Distributors after the demo. Sales were somewhere between $200 to $300 in products...as other guests were dividing up and ordering products through the newbies.... Isn't that exciting?
Kelly is coming to the office on Thursday for lunch. We are going to put a training schedule into place in her area throughout the rest of the year, so that new SeneGence Distributors will be assured they will have Kelly and my help and support as they come on board with SeneGence. That area of the state is ready to explode!
Sat 8/02:
Sene-U....
... was fantastically engaging and fun!..... New and recommitted Distributors joined us here at corporate for the weekend to learn....to return to their home towns loaded with great ideas, techniques, and knowledge needed to Build...Build...Build their SeneGence business. Okay Girls - we have to talk.... Queen Jeri T, was here with 7 of her G0-Go-Girls. CP Sheila Y. had one sweet Young Chick in attendance...and Jerni was represented with one Dynamic Distributor... Kelly R. Let's see from what downline organization the majority of the attendees are from during the upcoming September Sene-U .... :) Space is limited. The race for registration is on!
Fri 8/01:
Gorgeous day today…and it’s going to be an even better night because tonight is the first session of the SeneGence August Sene–U.
That means I have the great pleasure of meeting some of our new Distributors!
The office is all a’buzzz. We are ready for what is always our favorite start to most months. Isn’t that a great way to start almost every business month of the year? Meeting exciting and excited new friends, and some not so new.
Several people who have been with us for quite awhile have told me it is ‘time’ for them to kick their businesses into gear, as their futures in some other endeavors are not looking as bright as they used to.
Even in this economy, we're booming! And, what a wonderful thing it is to be able to help so many through what could be otherwise trying times. What a wonderful business, SeneGence!
I’ll report on the activities and festivities of Sene-U next week. Stay tuned….
Tues 7/29:
It’s “shake rattle n’roll” of a different kind around here at the office today.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 just hit, and I for one was quite ‘rattled.’ (I’ve lived in Southern California for 35 years – still can’t get used to earthquakes!) I called home to check on the boys and they were just fine.
Tonight I'm looking forward to holding a demo with Debbie S. at a salon she has chosen; they’ve invited lots of customers. Thank goodness we’ve got a demo booked. Productivity calms my nerves and will take my mind off of the earthquake…..I’ll let you know how the demo goes…. J
Mon 7/28:
I love deadlines!
Our son William’s one year birthday is coming soon. I can't believe he will be one year old! His first year of life has been such a milestone for us. The growth of SeneGence in our new building, the growth of our family, and the growth of one beautiful baby as he becomes a little boy right before our very eyes.
I spent the weekend preparing our house for the arrival of friends and family who will travel from afar to help celebrate the occasion. It occurred to me yet one more time how much effort it takes to constantly move forward and how many tasks can be completed when one is faced with deadlines. This applies to every area in life…personal, home, family, work.
I accomplished so much within those two days. I felt quite satisfied……and decided to impose a few new deadlines upon myself for business purposes this week.
Thank goodness for William, and thank goodness for deadlines!
Thurs 7/24:
New Distributor Erin F. came by for lunch and a 'getting organized’ meeting with me. We set up a gameplan for the next two weeks. We booked her first demo, and also determined which of my upcoming demos she will observe. We set a lunch–wowing date, and reviewed inventory options along with her initial goals.
Within part of our discussion, we set out to determine a weekly ‘balanced’ calendar.
Erin is a busy businesswoman, a girlfriend and a mother. (three kids between the two of them!) She feels that one to two demos per week will be a handful to balance within her very full schedule, but we decided that it's doable. To try and do more might result in unwanted burnout as she tries to fit it all into her already hectic week.
I agreed. Erin’s quite enlightened to recognize her responsibilities and her need for balance from the get go. She wants to make sure she makes her mark in the long run…working smart and having fun while spending time with her family. That’s success….woman style.

Mon 7/21:
We have a regularly scheduled bimonthly training here at the office. It always proves to be fun and enlightening.
Tonight, Erin F. joined our team. She loves makeup, and is currently working in an industry that, let's just say, doesn't excite her very much.
We are going to work together building business in the Orange County area along with other dedicated SeneGence Distributors. One day, Erin will be able to support herself and her darling daughter solely through SeneGence. We plan to celebrate when that day arrives!
Sun 7/20:
Just reflecting…..
Sheila Y. & Jeri T. were in the office together for their photo shoot this week.
Watching them pose together was so fun and sweet, and brought a tear to my eyes.
“We’ve come a long way, baby!”
Both of these successful women are more beautiful today than the day I first met them.... they began as Tradeshow Titans, then turned with the tide and became Demo-ing Divas, and they've taught so many others to do so as well!
Their lives have both been blessed beyond their greatest expectations, directly and indirectly through SeneGence. And they in turn have bestowed blessings unto countless others.
I am so proud to have them as stellar member Leaders of our dynamic, growing sales force.
Fri 7/18:
Here I am, in the cosmetics industry, and yet today I was caught "bare faced."
Susie H. and husband David from Georgia called the house. They wanted directions to the office, as they are here visiting their daughter.
I was up several times with the baby last night, and slept in a little later than usual this morning. I quickly showered and dressed, and decided that I’d apply my makeup at the office while awaiting their arrival.
But guess what?? They walked in two minutes after I arrived at the office.
Ooops! Caught without my face on. I am so happy that my natural, bare skin looks good, thanks to the use of our skin care products.
Now, I'm sure that God was trying to make a point today, because as Susie H. and David left the building, two women pulled up who appeared for the sole purpose of becoming Distributors and purchasing products in order to get their new businesses going.
Yikes!…still no makeup. I said, "Okay, God; I'll never leave the house without makeup again."
So what did I do? I sat down with our new Distributors and played makeup together. By the time they left the building, we were each “SeneGized,” they'd had the opportunity to work with the products, and we all felt fresh and beautiful for the remainder of the day.
A little "divine intervention," perhaps?
Wed 7/16:
Now that I have completed my portion of Destination Demos, these stories just have to be told!
When I first began to travel for SeneGence, I recall a time at which I decided to take taxi cabs from the airport to my hotel and then on to my appointments. I'm always grateful and appreciative when someone is kind enough to pick me up, but things just happen sometimes, and during my most recent travels I had some crazy experiences...
I could have called cabs during these various visits. But would I have had as much fun??
.
When I arrived at the Minnesota airport, Jane P. was there to pick me up. We were excited to see one another, catch up, and discuss the weekend’s activities. We'd been talking for about an hour when I noticed that the signs were looking familiar – often.
We were caught up in the airport ‘loop’.
We could not figure out how to exit the airport. After the fourth ‘round-about’ – trip through the loop – I said to Jane excitedly with arm extended and finger pointing in an outward direction “GO WEST JANE – GO WEST!” We were so proud as we made our way down the highway – as if we were the original pioneer women blazing new trails.

Katie S. was stuck in traffic on her way to pick me up, and arrived about an hour late. I didn't know what type car she was driving, so as people drove up in their cars waving to someone standing in my vicinity, I returned each wave with an enthusiastic smile, usually to discover that they were waving at some other person standing nearby. People looked puzzled. As one woman got out of her car she asked the couple she came to pick up “Is she with you?” – jerking her head in my direction. They looked at me sideways and shook their heads no while quickly throwing their bags into the truck before speeding away. Sigh.
Later, Anne M. and I were speeding down the highway in her cute little red convertible.
The highways in her neck of the woods are not well lit at night, as they run through beautiful forests. We were consumed with our conversation. Anne followed the truck in front of her.
Well, that seemed natural enough –
but what she did not notice was that she was following a massive dump truck
into the construction lanes of a portion of highway which was being refurbished. She did not seem to see the dozens of men running after us shouting and waving their hands high above their heads trying to catch her attention.
It wasn’t until I let out a little gasp as a giant steam roller came barreling toward us that she looked around to see what all of the commotion was about. I tried to appear calm, but by this time I was saying my prayers and thinking of my boys back home and how I may never see them again! Anne suddenly saw what was going on.
”What??” she said, as she veered over several pot holes and stacks of debris back into the correct lane. She looked at me and said, “Now, where were we?”
Sometimes ladies, it's all about the journey!
Tues 7/15:
Washington State is one of the most beautiful states of the Union.
Gorgeous trees everywhere.
I spent a lovely weekend with Katie S. traveling up and down the highways – even to the west coast ocean shores to conduct a demo at Monica L-C.’s.
Weekend totals were: sponsor 3 new Distributors; book 3; Katie booked additional new Distributor launch demos. Newbie Distributors who attended the demos learned more about the products and prepared their initial product orders. I must tell you – one of the demo’s had only one (1) – Yes – ONE customer attend….and she was a veteran from a nutrition MLM; now turned devoted SeneDerm customer. A good time was had by all – thank you, Katie for being such a gracious hostess.
Mon 7/07:
Canada is gorgeous this time of year. I spent the last 2 ½ days riding along the highways with Anne M. enjoying the beauty of the land while traveling from one demo to the next.
Destination Demo results? 11 new Distributors coming on board, $2600 plus in sales; 7 bookings and 5 SeneBlends scheduled.
Thanks to Anne M., the weekend was well orchestrated as she shared her demo time slots with other SeneSisters from Canada.
Thank you, Anne…. J
Wed 7/02:
I am not sure how I accomplished anything CEO-ish today between the excitement and tears of joy.
The office was abuzz with visitors, of usual. One highlight was a visit from Beryl H., the winner of the “Make It Mine Contest” ( a first – of – it’s – kind – contest.) She stopped in to drop off a sample of the new lip shade she has chosen to launch into the field (her prize for winning the drawing.)
 |
Beryl had resorted to purchasing as a sample the old fashioned kind of lipstick….Icky! Note smudge of that lipstick on napkin…and it broke in half as we applied the color! Remember those days?
Beryl H., left
Leslie Boyd-Bradley,
Director of Distributor Development, right
|
Then….Renee (D) dropped in to pick up her latest order and brought with her….who else other than her DARLING 11 week old little boy, Cole. That’s when the tears of joy turned up or rather ‘out’…. J

Wed 7/02:
Sheila Y., our beloved Crown Princess was the guest speaker on tonight’s Happy Hour call.
She is so sweet, warm, loving, and yet persistent, intent, and directed all at the same time. It's no wonder she is our Number One Distributor in all of SeneGence. Sheila gave me permission to report on her ‘PART TIME’ earnings with SeneGence…. Over $650,000.00 in earnings thus far! Now, that’s great pay for part time!!! If you are a registered Distributor, I highly recommend logging into your back office - go to Happy Hour - to listen to her interview and learn how you too can earn a part time income such as she has earned…be prepared to get excited and grow your business!
Tues 7/01:
I forgot to share with you this very special SeneSun SunScreen SPF 30 testimonial:
We were at the beach on Saturday, and we applied a major brand of baby sunscreen to my 10 month old William’s body. Now, you have to know that I'm very picky about what we allow to touch his delicate ivory skin.
The product was:
· Pediatrician tested
· Tear-free
· Contained continuous Sun Block SPF 50
- Waterproof
When it was applied to his skin, red blotches immediately appeared!! It was definitely an allergic reaction. In horror, his nanny quickly wiped off the product. Frank (Carmen’s husband) mentioned that he had a bottle of our SeneSun SunScreen SPF 30 with him . (Why hadn’t I thought of that?)
We sprayed William from head to toe. Using our SeneGence product, there was no skin reaction, and no fuss from William as our sunscreen does not leave a thick or oily film on the skin. And, no baby burn by the day’s end.

William loves to swim! |
Mon 6/30:
I just love our Distributors. The Leaders who attended P.I.T. (Princess in Training, our semi-annual meeting) this weekend have a special place in my heart. They show up to win in business for themselves, their customers, their down lines, and for SeneGence. The bounds that are made here between the ladies and the information passed on from our industry experts become invaluable to each of them.
Training was particularly exciting this P.I.T. as I am sure I can speak for everyone who attended – Leslie, our Director of Distributor Development is a Demo-ing Diva par Excellence! Our Leaders walked away with loads of new fun ideas, common sense techniques, and word-for-word, blow-by-blow, step-by-step how-to instructions for Booking-Demoing–Directing ... and she made it all fun and exciting!!! I have never seen so many Leaders wildly taking notes the way they were as they sat at their desks listening to her training. Truly – I shed a tear!
Okay – my very favorite parts of P.I.T.??
Twofold: I have to say one was the dinner spent with our three top sponsoring Distributors who won the P.I.T. sponsoring challenge.
Sheila Y., Bridgette L., and Dawn C. (along with Ben and I) enjoyed a delicious dinner together at a lovely beach front restaurant, and entertained one another with personal stories.
The other favorite period was time spent with the girls walking along the water's edge at the beach during Saturday’s Beach Bash - again, sharing stories, laughing, and getting to know each better.
Success truly is a ‘Jerni’. A “Jerni’ of work, love, laughter, and play…A ‘Jerni’ taken together. It is true – conferences do change lives. Talk to a Leader who attended PIT. Ask them how this event changed their lives…. it will make you want to qualify for our next event, which is our Leaders' Conference this coming October, to be held in Las Vegas. Leslie, our DDD, is looking forward to meeting all of you.
Wed 6/25:
I asked Carmen to accompany me in the car (so I could drive in the diamond lane) to conduct a ‘cosmetic application’ course to students (salon owners) at a beauty school in the L.A. area along with SeneGence Distributor Evelyn K.
I bribed Carmen from her duties here at the office by offering to treat her to an authentic Mexican lunch before returning to the office.
It took about an hour to conduct the class. Basically, I taught the students make up placement on faces by drawing on a chalk board. Afterwards, Evelyn, who brought her testers and applicators, help them apply products. As Evelyn walked Carmen and I out to the car, she said she was confident many would become Distributors and in turn offer the products through their salons to their salon customers. Easy.
Once in the car, lunch was on Carmen’s mind. Thankfully, next door to the Beauty School was a privately owned Mexican restaurant and ‘drive thru’. Carmen laughed heartily as I handed her the bag of home made taquitos….”you never said lunch was going to be inside”….The food was delicious and we made it back to the office before 1:00 pm.
Tues 6/24:
Fia H. and her daughter Shawna B. are “up & comers”!
DDD, Leslie and I had a WONDERFUL time at their demo. We completed applications for two new Distributors, sold SeneGence products valued over $600.00, and booked two follow up demos ‘ta boot. I just love it when all goes well at a demo (Yes, that’s right – even I have demos that aren’t so great from time to time!)
I must say though; it’s fun to report to you a well rounded demo. Hey – it’s true…. The more demos you do, the greater the odds of having great results; meaning sponsoring-sells and future bookings all from one single demo. Attending the demo as guests of Fia’s was a couple of more seasoned local Distributors, Susan and Cynthia – so we accomplished offering a little more product knowledge training as well. Okay – the important news: Fia is a Fantastic Cook! She had scrumptious goodies to munch…and they were healthy too. Yum.
Sun 6/22:
I spent the last day and a half in Minnesota with Jane P. Just let me say – this woman is committed to succeed and to a life of abundance – no matter what! Despite a last minute critical family matter that took a great deal of time this past week and dealing with a stressful ‘emergency level’ work incident – Jane persevered. Although our Friday demo cancelled (it happens to all of us!), we held three product demos on Saturday.
As a result of Saturday’s demos, 3 new Distributors signed on. Though, before I left town, one called to say she ‘rethought’ and decided to order through another Distributor for a greater “discount”. (As a member of a different type of direct sales company where she is a ‘representative’ of a ‘buying club’ she didn’t ‘grasp’ what we actually do here at SeneGence.) Oh well – NEXT! The other two new Distributors will be wonderful additions to the team Jane is building in Minnesota.
With a full time job as a Nurse Practitioner and the full time responsibility of raising two gorgeous daughters, Jane has found balance difficult to reach – and to find the time she would like to carve out of her overloaded schedule for her SeneGence Business. We discussed her options together, and formalized a plan for Jane to bring into her life and her home a much loved and trusted ‘weekend nanny” twice a month. The girls will have the chance to participate in lots of weekend outings and Jane can attend to her business, stepping in and out of the girls weekend activities as she pleases while attending to her SeneGence business. I think it is a marvelous idea!
One of Jane’s daughters felt ‘blue’ over an injury. Boy, did her face light up when we offered to her the chance to apply liner and lip color …. her gloomy sullenness tranformed into a sparkle and a twinkle, and she instantly became a chatty Cathy.
I shed a tear as I write these words realizing the fun, joy, confidence and happiness we bring into lives of those we touch…the ‘beauty’ of it all is that it is so simple…we just have to open our mouths with words of kindness and beauty.
Jane created a great visual to more easily teach others skin cell growth…tune in to the SeneTip for next Monday.
Wed 06/18:
DDD Leslie and I headed down to the San Diego area to work with a darling group of New and Seasoned SeneGence Distributors, lead by Gloria R. Turns out the newbie Distributors gathered at the hostess’ home (gorgeous) and each had signed as a Distributor during the Mothers Day free sign up special. All of them are stay-at-home MOMS with children ranging from one 1-year-old up through a woman who has 6 children. We conducted a demo-slash- training event; another Mother-daughter team signed on.
Leslie will plan to be in San Diego the first week of each month to help excited and highly motivated Gloria R grow her area.
Wed. 06/11:
I normally wouldn’t mention this, but I feel compelled to due to the responses of my Doctor.
Today I had a thorough “Woman’s Wellness Checkup” (I hope each of you is seeing your Doctor at least once a year for same) – anyway – you know what that means....
Well, as we were making our way through the checkup from one area to the next, my Doctor remarked several times on the beautiful, soft condition of my skin; first on my face, then throat, on to my arms….and so on. He actually turned to refer to my records to note my age…and asked me to verify! He was amazed at how beautifully the incision had healed left from the birth of William....it is virtually gone…
As I returned to the office I held a phone interview about SeneGence with a gentleman who represents a certain business publication. His final question to me was, “What makes SeneGence so different from other cosmetic companies?” (which told me he had no clue about what I had been saying to him for the past 15 minutes).
The thoughts in my mind raced to find something clever to say to a man who has no idea what women desire for their cosmetics and skin care needs…a short snippet he would find noteworthy and therefore understand our uniqueness.
Smiling to myself, remembering the reactions of my Doctor, I decided to rely on the simple truth of the matter.
I said to him “Our products Really Work!”
He paused and asked in a more serious and interested voice, “Really?”
Tues. 06/10:
Tonight on the Happy Hour call we heard from Mary Ann in Australia.
Topic – Sponsoring.
She is such an inspirational individual and the Highest Ranking Distributor in Australia. Mary Ann’s excitement towards the product, combined with her enthusiasm for the SeneGence opportunity is a winning combination of strengths that naturally make her a star and a wonderful recruiter. Always sponsoring minded, she says she tells each and every woman with whom she speaks, “I need women to help me spread the word about SeneGence and these wonderful products through out Australia – How about it?”
We are sure to see Mary Ann along with several of her Downline Distributors here with us next year at Seminar as members of the Inner Circle Sponsors Court.
Great work, Mary Ann!
Mon. 06/09:
Another great weekend!
Over the weekend - Friday and Saturday we held Sene-U here at the office. Beautiful Distributor attendees from California and Florida were so excited to be here to learn how to become more successful at their businesses. Each left here on fire with a resolve and an expectation to book to build …Build… Build !
Sunday Leslie and I headed over to Chino for a Demo at Mary’s house, and this morning I spent a couple of hours training a seasoned Distributor, Rene and her employees all about SeneDerm. They are now carrying the full color SenseCosmetics and SeneDerm skin care line in her lovely salon.
Ben is leaving town tomorrow for his annual “He-Man-Hog Event’. This year it’s an 11 day Harley ride up through Canada and back with the ‘guys’….
Translation? That means I take over his baby duty hours. Goodbye to any chance of sleep …..(sounds of snoring)
Oh… Thank you all for your fun calls and e-mails regarding the Message Button. I had fun recording it….I’d love to know what it is you’d like for me to say.
Send a script….we’ll see what happens…J
Tue. PM 6/03:
Wow!
Leslie (our new DDD) and I had a blast at Roxanne’s demo. I am not sure what the totals are but I know she booked 6 follow up SeneBlend appointments before I left…she’s got a couple of potential distributors. I’ll find out tomorrow…
Sweet Dreams, All.
Mon. PM 6/02:
Stayed home today to play with William, I answered e-mails while he was sleeping. The executives came to the house for a meeting. I put on my makeup during the meeting because I was scheduled to conduct a Glamour Clinic at work tonight. I am always happy I've gone. Patti and Ellen were there and Linda brought a new Distributor who signed up. We are setting some demo dates for later…..
Sun. PM 6/01:
Home again – my son Alan picked me up from the airport. Ben and William were playing when I arrived home….big hugs…and guess what? I don’t even think little William missed seeing me yesterday (Saturday). He was having…way fun…with Daddy. We snuggled and I rocked him to sleep at bedtime.
Life is good. J
Sun AM 6/01:
Cathy’s - The final demo, held at Cathy’s on Sunday morning was just as fun and exciting as the others. Dick (Cathy’s husband deserves great kudos as he prepared the munchies and even bought flowers for the event. J ) We sponsored three more wonderful women into Cathy’s Downline and they sold products…. I am not sure how much as Jeri had to dash off to buy a new wedding band at the Jewelry show and I had to leave for the airport.
Sat. PM 5/31:
LaNae and Jeri Host - The afternoon demo was held at Jeri’s lovely new home. LaNae hosted with 2 potential Distributors in attendance and a great new customer. The evening demo was hosted by Jeri with lots attending (I lost count). I met for the first time several new Distributors who came to learn and prepare their first orders. We conducted the demo and helped them prepare their order. We also sold products and sponsored 2 or 3 and helped to determine what products they would order on Monday once they received their ID#.
Sat. AM 5/31:
Amber’s House - Amber has a beautiful home..and believe it or not - she has 3 daughters, age 14 and twin girls age 4! Oh, my goodness… I am sure you won’t hear me complain about how busy I am any more!
Her set up for the demo was completely organized! Jeri is thrilled to have Amber on board. Jeri says Amber will help organize the Vegas Gals. Her demo was over $1000.00. One woman alone order $700.00 +. That woman’s daughter who lives in Texas will sign up under Amber.
Fri. PM 5/30:
Las Vegas Party Time! – Tonight’s demo was sooooo fun! We held it at Jazzee’s darling boutique. We all shopped and bought her cute clothes and then I conducted the a demo. Cathy sponsored Joyce, and I met for the first time, Lisa, LaNae’s girlfriend from Georgia…who will complete her distributor application before the weekend is over. She’s a beauty and works for 2 charities in the Atlanta area.
